This is a wonderful app. I love the possibility that you can go back and forth from the translation results to the original language. This allows to fine tune the choice of a a translation. The app has also an undocumented feature. Tap and hold the search term and you get for many words a definition in the original language, like a Webster. Thats very helpful. This function has a little bug. When returning to the search page the app seems to be frozen. Close it with the Home button and reopen it and its working again.

This is a REALLY good German/English and visa versa dictionary. Works offline (crucial for me), massive database of words and phrases. Clear indications of gender. Dictates. Couldnt be happier.

I dont understand how the new version work. I cant translate anything. The last version worked etter, it was easyer to understand and was a 5 stars.. . please make it easyer for your next version.

I had to restart my phone but when it started working, it was exactly what I needed! Good layout, easy to use and very fast. I am a fan of the website and the only question I have is- are you developing a pro version that has example sentences like the website? Great job!

...that this app is free. I am in Deutschland now for the first time and have been referring to this app constantly as I try to navigate my way through menus, signs, everything. Very extensive vocabulary and phrase book. Very easy and simple UI - no switching between languages for input. Works offline. Nothing more or less than exactly what you need it to be.

Ive tried several apps to help me improve my German, and spent a reasonable amount of money. None has come close to this dictionary. I cant believe its free. Thank you Her Hemetsberger, much appreciated.

Ive used the website for more than a decade now, but I prefer using the app on my iPhone and iPad. The free version has ads, but for a little money you can make them go away. Im happy to support the creator of this excellent, crowd-sourced dictionary.
