The best and most complete user generated but accurate translation tool with phrases you just wont find translated anywhere else. This is probably the best internet creation since Wikipedia as far as language, especially German, is concerned. Based on dict.cc, the app is almost better than the full site.

The best dictionary German app Ive ever used. Ive been sticking with their awesome website since the day I started to learn German, and then with this fabulous app. Very useful and convenient!! Now I dont need to be online all the time to look up the words. It does helps me improve my German effectively in a surprising way. Itd be super duper if theres a bookmark button. But it still rocks itself anyway. Love it, love it and love it ☆〜（ゝ。∂）

Id only want two things more: a pro version without ads, and example uses (as an English mother tongue who is learning German). Works great though. I like how it gives permutations of words e.g. "Irgend" will also show you definitions for Irgendwo, Irgend etwas, etc.

The app is great! Best I have found so far. I live and work in Berlin and it has come in handy so many times. I use it on a daily basis. My only complaint is I would like a search history option. I have the web page saved as an icon on my home page for this reason. When you are learning a new language its nice to be able to review new words you have had to look up through out the day.

I get the closest translations from this app. Other apps I have used, the words just did not match up. This one I know I can rely on. The only thing it is missing is conjugated verbs. I hope they add this in a future update.

Simple and elegant.

I recently moved to Germany and this app has been invaluable. It gives so many relevant examples and I feel it truly captures the nuances of language that are so difficult to pinpoint. Its by far the best dictionary Ive come across (totally underrated) and its awesome that it works offline! One thing that could make it even better is if it offered verb conjugations, but overall its a solid and reliable dictionary!

The option to have an offline dictionary is amazing! I love the website and I love the app!

This is a combination of an unabridged dictionary (truly-at least for German-English) AND a modest but always improving phrase-book. A free, offline, unabridged dictionary for German English would be worth 5 stars, and it has all sorts of phrases as well. And the new tabular view is great!

Wont even download the dictionary. Cant use.

Simple and great, works offline. You guys could add more words and expressions. Its the best out there, per total.

Very useful, but it has been really unstable lately.

I probably shouldve written this review 4 years ago but this is by far the best translation app Ive ever used. Ive been using this app since 2012 and I dont have a single complaint. The upgrades make it all the better by including other languages but I primarily use it for German and Russian. Thank you so much for creating this app.
