Its really a great app but only one problem. When i look to a German translation of an English word it means i know English so i want to learn German. So why the applicatin as a result gives me English audio option but not German? This has to change.

The best German-English dictionary I have ever used.

Very good App, the only drawback is that it doesnt show all forms of German verbs (like Präteritum, Perfekt etc), it would be VERY useful.

Best offline translator (at least for de<>en), no competition.

Ios customization and ads. Awful. I loved this app till now.

Found it invaluable to translate music terminology laden text. I have not found domain specific dictionaries. This one did it for me, at least for music.

simple and handy. it runs super fast and detects the words.

This app is great! I was looking for something that would match the website and it has certainly delivered. The only thing I wish would be different is that it would be a iphone and iPad app so it wouldnt look blown up when I use it on the iPad. But all things aside this is as good as it gets.

Hope to see it on the iPad someday!

The app is good but it lacks the precision of the website version.

I was recommended this by my German friend and have been satisfied completely. As Ive only a basic understanding of German right now this has helped me communicate and make new friends.

Amazing app...keeps everything local and offers the best translation I have seen anywhere!

Where is the iPad version?

Shame its not more well known.

There are more comprehensive ones out there but none thats as good as this one while still being free.

Pros: Fast, easy to use and search, with lots of common combinations and turns of phrase not found in other dictionaries. Offline use is a big plus! Cons: It seems that often the noun gender is not displayed (very annoying). Worse, the object case required by verbs and associated prepositions is also rarely shown! Finally, there doesnt seem to be a browse mode. Unfortunately, because of the above issues, I only use this dictionary app as a supplement, not as a single "go to" app. Its a shame, as their online dictionary website is quite thorough and useful.
