Cant show my appreciation to Paul and his team, great app!

One of best websites/apps for learning German.

New update is not stable at all. App crashes all the time. Update the update or go back to prior (good working ) version.

Hate the new UI, hate the banner

great for ipod touch without wifi. Still needs work like favorites, history and online link. Till then I keep using bitknights. update sept5 its a different app now. still no favorites or learning tool. input line cannot be edited, because it get erased totally. not worth yet to spend $4 on it.

The new version is not even working for me. Even if it was, the old UI was just much simpler and faster to use.

I have been using the app for a few years now, and I have to say it is one of the most helpful things I have on my iPhone. I did, however, prefer the older UI. Other than that, its truly fantastic!

It has a lot of entries, but this app lacks plural forms for nouns and does not list the past participle of verbs, so it is rather useless to me. I dont understand why the app is missing this info, because the website has it.

This app was great…until the new update. The new version is much slower and has less words. Its more beneficial to go to the mobile version of their website if you have wifi. I really liked this app, but Im going to have to find a new German dictionary with more words.

I love this dictionary. Its one of the best Ive tried even versus most of the paid ones. Just a few suggestions that I would love to see, and would be willing to pay for: - Show the gender of German words when looking up a word, in German. It just shows the translation but no gender. The gender for German words is shown when looking up the translation from an English word. - Clean up the search interface a bit. It is very good, but I wish it would keep a history. Also something like a partial suggested auto complete (instead of just a full word auto complete) would be nice. I hope that makes sense? Something to suggest/fix spelling mistakes would also be nice. Its so annoying on the iPhone to have to backspace all the way back just to fix one minor little mistype. Anyway, just a few minor things that would make this app that much more incredible. Thanks for much for making this app and the dict.cc dictionary available for all of us!

Easy to use, great integration of spoken phonetics. My favorite dictionary app for English to German

Really Great app to use and its correct so all information is correct

I get to about 70 percent on the German dictionary and it says try again.

Always gives translations for what you mean to say unlike others such as google translate which offers strange suggestions

I use this app multiple times a day and the offline feature is excellent but the new icon for iOS 7 is a blister on my home screen.

I use this everyday in class and while doing homework, and it really helps me learn new words and express myself in writing. Thanks guys!!

This app is one of the best i had ever try before! The nice thing is you do not have to had internet connection <3

dict.cc always seems to have the words Im looking for, whether standard German or colloquial. The back and forward buttons make the apps usability especially great. The lack of verb conjugation and varied forms of nouns in different cases makes me have leo.orgs app handy as well.

I go to many countries (Netherlands, Germany, etc.) I dont have problems with this app, but this would be AWESOME if we could be able to translate sentences. But no matter what, this still helps! Thanks dict.cc !!

Very simple - there are no extras with this for improving language skills. But it has a huge vocabulary and provides idiomatic phrases which my other app was lacking. Perfect for traveling with. You need to be online to have access to audio files though if you want to hear the words.
